Refund & Warranty Policy Last Updated: April 2026 At TN Home Care, we strive to provide the highest quality repair services for your home appliances. This policy outlines our commitment to service transparency and the terms regarding warranties and refunds for our customers across Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry. 1. Service Warranty We provide a limited warranty on the labor (workmanship) performed by our technicians: Duration: All repair services come with a 30-day functional warranty from the date of the service invoice. Coverage: If the specific issue we repaired reoccurs within 30 days, we will re-inspect and fix it at no additional labor cost. Exclusions: This warranty does not cover new issues, unrelated faults, or damages caused by external factors such as power surges, water logging, or physical mishandling after the repair. 2. Spare Parts Warranty New Parts: Any spare parts replaced (e.g., AC compressors, washing machine motors, fridge thermostats) carry the original manufacturer’s warranty, if applicable. Claim Process: To claim a parts warranty, the customer must provide the original tax invoice provided by TN Home Care. Second-hand/Refurbished Parts: If a customer requests the use of used or refurbished parts to save costs, these parts carry no warranty unless explicitly stated in writing on the invoice. 3. Refund Policy As we provide a physical service, refunds are handled under the following conditions: Service Fees: The initial Visiting/Inspection Fee is non-refundable once the technician has reached your location and diagnosed the appliance. Unresolved Issues: If our technician is unable to repair the appliance due to the unavailability of parts or technical limitations, you will only be charged the basic inspection fee. Advance Payments: If you have paid an advance for a spare part and the part has not yet been ordered or picked up, a full refund of the advance will be issued. Once a part is ordered specifically for your machine, the advance is non-refundable. Processing: Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method (UPI/Bank Transfer) within 5–7 business days. 4. Voiding of Warranty The TN Home Care service warranty will be considered null and void if: The appliance is opened or repaired by any third-party technician or the customer after our service. The warranty seal (if applied) is broken or tampered with. The appliance is moved to a different district or location outside our 15-district service area without prior notification. 5.
